Traditional roasting for industrial applications
We possess three different roasters. One of them is a tradition-rich drum roaster of the type “Probat UG 22” for the processing of exclusive single-origin plantation coffees. Moreover, with this roaster we are able to roast smaller batches from 22 onwards. For larger amounts we have two further drum roasters on hand. Our experience has shown that it has become very important for our customers to get the coffee delivered as long-term roasting. By that aromatic substances are developing ideally and bitter substances are removed.
While roasting a significant volume increase of the coffee beans and a certain weight loss occur. The weight loss is called penetration. The penetration varies according to the type of coffee and the degree of roasting.
